Duties:
The Lead Response Worker Intervenes in crisis situations through mobile outreach response. Interviews clients, performs assessment and crisis interventions, creates individual crisis plans and provides case management by making linkage and referrals. Reaches out to post intervention clients to perform follow-up. Responds to crisis outreach immediately and is on-site of the crisis within one hour of receiving crisis outreach call. On-call as needed (some weekends included on rotation). Answers 24-hour hotline, as scheduled. Updates Consumer log on a daily basis. Works in a team approach. Updates the CSA with clinical information. Consults with Supervisor/Director on status of consumer and contacts the parent/ guardian. Serves as a liaison for Response Workers. Serves as a resource and content expert to team members, providing them with guidance and being available to answer questions to clarify work activities. Provides continual evaluation of processes and procedures. Responsible for suggesting methods to improve program operations, efficiency of work and consumer service. Assists in implementing training protocol for new hire employees. Provides consistent feedback on training progress to Supervisor/Director to ensure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their job.
Legacy operates the State-designated Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization program for Burlington County. The program provides crisis intervention to families with a child or youth exhibiting emotional or behavioral disturbances that threaten to disrupt their current living arrangements. Trained response workers diffuse crises at the site of the crisis for up to 72 hours. They work with the family to develop an individualized crisis plan and coordinate in-home follow-up intervention services for up to eight weeks.
Children’s Mobile Response and Stabilization Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Education/Experience:
Master’s Degree in a social services field with at least one year of experience working with children or Bachelor’s Degree in a social services field plus 3 years of experience working with children or MA/BA with previous Mobile Response experience. Certified as a crisis worker through state certification process.

Position is full time; requires some on-call responsibilities
